At SarvamAstro, your privacy matters deeply. We keep it simple — we store the minimum data necessary to run our service, and we never sell or share your information.
The Short Version
1. What Information We Collect
An account is required to use SarvamAstro. You sign in through a trusted third-party provider (such as Google or Apple) — we never see or store your password. From that sign-in, we store only the following:
The name associated with your sign-in account, used to personalise your experience and identify your account.
The email address associated with your sign-in account, used to identify your account and allow you to log back in.
You may optionally provide your phone number for account recovery or two-factor authentication. This can be updated or removed from your account settings at any time.
What we do NOT collect: We do not collect your birth chart data, astrological readings, horoscope history, or any other usage data for any purpose other than delivering the service to you in your session. We do not use tracking pixels, behavioral analytics, or advertising trackers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the minimal data we collect only for these specific purposes:
Your email is used to verify your identity when you log in and to send password reset links.
We may email you important service updates, security alerts, or changes to our policies. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
To detect and prevent unauthorized access to your account.
To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations where required.
3. Data Sharing — We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties, advertisers, or data brokers — ever.
The only limited exceptions are:
Legal requirement: We may disclose your email address if required by a valid court order or government authority under Indian law. We will notify you if legally permitted to do so.
Business transfer: In the unlikely event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the new entity, which will be bound by this same privacy policy.
4. Data Security
Your name, email address, and any optional data you provide is stored securely with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS). Access to user data is restricted to essential personnel only and is logged. We perform regular security reviews to ensure your data remains protected.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for the app to function — such as keeping you logged in and remembering your theme preference (dark/light mode). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
6. Children's Privacy
SarvamAstro is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at sarvamastroapp@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

Delete Your Account & Data
You have the right to permanently delete your SarvamAstro account and all associated data at any time. Upon deletion, the following is removed:
Note: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax compliance under Indian GST law, but these will be fully anonymized and cannot be linked to you.
To request deletion, visit our dedicated page or email sarvamastroapp@gmail.com with your registered email and subject line "Account Deletion Request". We process all requests within 7 business days.
